Smarter credit assessment
Middesk’s enhanced Credit Assessment now includes people risk insights and UCC lien monitoring, giving you a complete view of both business and individual risk in a single platform. Virtual mailbox detection in Address Risk Insights
Our latest enhancement to Address Risk Insights helps identify virtual mailboxes, improving compliance with Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements and reducing fraud exposure. Our ‘Virtual mailbox’ indicator is now live for all customers. Learn more in our API docs.
Discover website automatically
Previously, we required a website URL as an input into our Web Analysis product. Now, we can discover a business’s website URL using only a business name and address. This will allow you to run Web Analysis on more businesses than ever before – including businesses you don’t have a website URL on file for.
Expanded business litigation results
Customers previously received a maximum of 10 business litigation results — now, you can increase this limit to access more cases for deeper risk assessment. Contact Support or your Account Manager to adjust your limit and discuss pricing.
Match TINs with greater speed and coverage

Screen watchlists with hardened control
We upgraded our name matching algorithm used in OFAC screening, allowing customers to fine-tune name fuzziness controls (0-100) for improved match rates and greater precision. A higher threshold enforces stricter matching, while a lower threshold allows for more leniency. Update your configuration in the Screenings section of the dashboard settings to align with your risk tolerance and screening policies. Keep an eye out—access is rolling out to all Middesk customers!
Verify with more authoritative data sources
We’ve expanded our authoritative data sources, and you can now access detailed information about the sources used to verify a business. Click on the source tooltips within the business overview page or toggle over to the new Sources tab to view all authoritative data sources tied to a business. For each authoritative source, you can view the underlying data returned — such as file numbers and registration details. The tab also includes any available alternative data sources and third-party profiles, where applicable. This update improves transparency and traceability, helping customers better understand verification outcomes.

We launched a tracking page for partners’ sales and account management teams to easily check customer registration statuses without needing to go through support.
